VermontGasPrices.com is reporting diesel fuel prices as high is
$4.45 here in Vermont and now a Williamstown trucking company says
the prices at the pump have left their second-generation
family-owned business with no other option than to call it quits
after five decades on the road....

we're not a bit past it already: Over the weekend NPR ran two
stories that though they weren't explicitly connected, ought to
have been--one on how President Obama's approval ratings fluctuate
with the price of gasoline ......
